Poker Hands

Poker is a very popular game around the world, however, there are several versions can lead the player through a series of unexplored paths, if he do not have a basic knowledge of the game. There are fundamental things in poker that beginners should know, for some players are obvious things, but here I will mention a few.

First I will mention player must know the types of hands that can have in poker. There are about 10 kinds of different hands, each formed from different combinations of cards. The strongest hands are most difficult to obtain, there is little chance of getting them, however, weak hands are more accessible during the game. If you know how to use the different hands wisely, for example the weak hands, you can win with them, even against a player with a good hand. Remember poker is a game of strategy.

The different poker hands that exist are:

Royal Flush (to obtain this hand you need all 5 cards from the same suit and consecutive from 10 to A. This hand is very special and difficult to obtain and it's classified like: the highest ranking standard poker hand).

Straight flush (this hand contains 5 cards from the same suit, it's necessary that all card are in sequence.)

Four of a kind (to get this hand you need to obtain four cards of one rank and an unmatched card of another rank)

Full house (this hand contains any three cards of the same rank, and two cards of the same rank)

Flush (All the 5 cards are from the same suite, but not necessarily consecutive)

Three of a Kind (to get this hand you need three cards of the same rank, and two unmatched cards)

Two pair (If you have two cards of the same rank, and two another cards of the same rank, and in addition one unmatched card, you have a 2 pair)

One Pair (this hand includes 2 cards of the same rank, and 3 other unmatched cards, it's one of the most simple hands)

High Card (in this hand all the cards are different, could be any hand excluding the above mentioned hands)

Have a knowledge of these hands, and how they get is something basic when you start to playing poker. Each hand has different possibilities and act differently when you compare them, trying to defeat to your opponent.
